
Marcos A. Trujillo is a member of the firm’s commercial group where he focuses on trust and estate planning and public finance. As a law student, Marcos co-founded and served as treasurer for the University of New Mexico School of Law Estate Planning and Elder Law Society. He was a board member and student liaison for the Elder Law Section of the State Bar of New Mexico.
Also during law school, Marcos clerked for Sutin, Thayer & Browne and worked as an extern for both Legal Aid’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and Senior Citizens’ Law Office.
For five years prior to attending law school, Marcos, a Certified Financial Planner, worked as a financial consultant with Charles Schwab, Inc. During his tenure there, he managed an investment advisory practice of more than $300 million in investable assets and built financial plans that included investment strategies, estate and tax planning.
