
Genevieve (Gen) Lawson primarily practices in Litigation, Real Estate, and Trademark Law.
Gen has earned a number of degrees including aircraft maintenance, intelligence studies, business administration, and law. Prior to law school, Gen worked as a police officer, real estate appraiser, and aircraft mechanic. Gen also served in the Air National Guard beginning in 1994, and retired from the military in 2024. During her military service, Gen deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve.
In 2003, Gen made the decision to go to law school, and graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2007 with her Juris Doctorate. Following Law School, Gen worked at the First Judicial District Attorney, the Second Judicial District Attorney, and the New Mexico Law Office of the Public Defender. During her time with those organizations she gained significant jury trial experience.
