He has represented the Governor and State of New Mexico in such matters, including as they related to water law. He has represented plaintiffs in several national class actions. He frequently makes presentations on professionalism. Peter taught Evidence and Trial Practice at the UNM Law School for 12 years and is now on the faculty of the UNM Political Science Department teaching constitutional law and theory.
