HENRY A. KELLY has been practicing in the areas of business law, tax, real estate and estate planning for over 35 years. He represents a wide range of businesses in corporate governance issues, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate advisement. His corporate clients include professional firms, oil and gas producers, banks and financial institutions, and federal contractors. Hank's tax law practice includes advisement on tax planning, tax-free reorganizations, tax-planned wills and trusts, tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and special issues affecting S corporations and partnerships. He enjoys helping closely-held businesses through times of transition, including management conflicts and shareholder or partner disputes. Hank also has considerable experience advising in risk management and insurance matters. Throughout his career, Hank has served in on a number of commissions and committees related to professionalism, ethics and conduct in the legal profession. He began his legal career as a law clerk to Judge Charles Fahy in the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
