GAIL GOTTLIEB practices in the Firm's litigation group. Her areas of concentration include employment and civil rights litigation as well as bankruptcy and commercial litigation. In her bankruptcy practice she focuses on representation of creditors, business partners and prospective purchasers in chapter 11 proceedings and complex chapter 7 proceedings. She also regularly handles state court foreclosures and receivership proceedings, with particular emphasis on representation of agricultural and commericial lenders. Her employment litigation practice encompasses wrongful termination claims alleged under traditional state law theories such as retalitory discharge and breach of implied contract. She also has experience with Equal Pay Act Claims, and defense of other Fair Labor Standards Act claims brought under 42 U.S.C. 1983.
