Sandra E. Rotruck Named Chair of NM Supreme Court Disciplinary Board

Sandra E. RotruckAlbuquerque, New Mexico. – Sutin, Thayer & Browne lawyer Sandra E. Rotruck has been named chair of the New Mexico Supreme Court's Disciplinary Board for 2012.

The Disciplinary Board assists the Supreme Court with administering the attorney disciplinary system in New Mexico and is responsible for providing recommendations to the Supreme Court concerning proposed amendments to the Rules Governing Discipline. Board members are appointed by the Supreme Court to staggered, three-year terms.

Ms. Rotruck is a certified family law specialist. Her practice areas include collaborative practice, divorce, alimony, custody and timesharing, child support, guardianship-conservatorship and domestic violence.

Additionally, she serves as vice-president of the Board of Directors for the Domestic Violence Resources Center and on the Board of Directors for Opera Southwest-Albuquerque.

Ms. Rotruck is a distinguished alum of New Mexico State University (B.S.W. 1983) and University of New Mexico School of Law (J.D. 1986).
