Sarita Nair Selected as an American Bar Association Business Law Ambassador
Sutin Thayer & Browne, a law firm with offices in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, announces Sarita Nair has been selected as an American Bar Association Business Law Ambassador.
Sarita Nair has been selected by the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section as one of five Ambassadors nationwide. The goal of the Ambassador program is to encourage the active participation of lawyers of color in the substantive work of the Section and to progress into future leadership positions with the ABA Business Law Section. Ms. Nair will serve as Ambassador for a two year term from 2010-2012.
Ms. Nair is a shareholder at Sutin Thayer & Browne. She practices in the areas of business, water, environmental and Indian Law. She focuses on complex commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and transactions that raise challenging water and environmental issues. She is listed in Best Lawyers of America in Water Law (based on a peer-review selection process by specialists in individual practice areas).
