| ANITA L. SAAVEDRA has been a Family Law paralegal since 1984. She
has worked exclusively in the area of Family Law since 1982. She
graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1982 with a B.A. in
Anthropology. During its existence, Ms. Saavedra was a member and
Membership Chair of Legal Assistants of New Mexico. She was also a
charter member of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of New
Mexico. Ms. Saavedra has served on two advisory boards, the National Elder
Care Institute on Older Women, and the Children's Safehouse. She has
been the Treasurer for the New Mexico State Chapter of the National
Organization for Native American Women for over 20 years and also
serves on the board. Ms.
Saavedra volunteered for several years as a member of the
Domestic Abuse Response Team with the Second Judicial District
Attorney's Office.
