SAUL COHEN was admitted to the California Bar in 1954 and the New Mexico and U.S. Supreme Court Bar in 1971.  He practices primarily in the areas of entertainment law and intellectual property, including matters relating to motion pictures, television, book publishing, art and music, including copyrights, trademarks, contracts relating to those fields, and related areas of the law such as invasion of privacy and defamation. He has also had extensive experience in litigation and real estate and general business law. He has written and lectured on copyright and related topics. He has been active in a variety of civic and community organizations.  He is at present a Trustee Emeritus of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation (former Chair), a Trustee of the International Folk Art Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, President of the Board of Regents of the New Mexico School for the Deaf, a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Johns College Library and Fine Arts Guild and of the Friends of the College of Santa Fe Library.  He is a member of the New Mexico Supreme Court Building Commission.  He is a former Chairman of the City of Santa Fe Historic Design Review Board.  He has published more than fifty articles on a variety of subjects, legal and otherwise, and two books.
