SANDRA E. ROTRUCK joined the Firm in 2007 as an attorney in its
domestic relations section. Her practice areas include
Collaborative Practice, Divorce, Alimony, Custody and Timesharing,
Child Support, Adoption, Guardianship/Conservatorship, and Domestic
Violence. Ms. Rotruck received training in the practice of
Collaborative Law and is a member of several Collaborative Practice
Groups. She has been appointed as a settlement facilitator in family
law cases.
Ms. Rotruck graduated with Honors from New Mexico State
University in 1983, obtaining a Bachelor degree in Social Work and a
Minor in Spanish. Ms. Rotruck obtained her Juris Doctor degree from
the University of New Mexico Law School in 1986. She received the
Distinguished Alumni Award for the College of Human & Community
Services at New Mexico State University in 1991.
Ms. Rotruck served Los Alamos, Santa Fe and Rio Arriba Counties
as a prosecutor with the First Judicial District Attorney's Office
focusing on the prosecution of child abuse and sexual assault cases
and as a Special Assistant Attorney General with the New Mexico
Child Support Enforcement Division in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has
practiced law for more than 21 years and family law for more than
ten years.
Ms. Rotruck is a member of the State Bar, the Family Law and
Elder Law Sections of the New Mexico Bar and the Supreme Court's
Statewide Alimony Guideline Committee and Disciplinary Board.
