| ROBERT J. (BOB) WERNER primarily represents New Mexico
businesses in connection with the sale and service of alcoholic
beverages and has represented hotels, resorts and dude ranches,
bars, night clubs, drug stores, grocery stores, convenience stores,
gas stations, race tracks and ski areas. He has also represented a
wide variety of businesses as a lobbyist before the New Mexico
Legislature seeking the enactment or defeat of particular
legislation. His lobbying clients have included timber companies,
jewelry manufacturers, New Mexico's largest health maintenance
organization, other health care organizations, as well as various
liquor businesses. Mr. Werner has served on the New Mexico Alcoholic
Beverage Control Commission as an industry representative. Since
1976, he has chaired the New Mexico Supreme Court Committee
responsible for the codification and publication of all laws of New
Mexico.
