| HELEN HECHT practices primarily in the area of state and federal
taxes, assisting businesses with New Mexico and multi-state tax
planning, audit defense, refunds, tax credits and incentives. Ms.
Hecht is a New Mexico licensed CPA and, before joining Sutin, Thayer
& Browne, she was with KPMG LLP, an international accounting firm.
She has specialized in the area of state and local taxes for over 20 years. Ms. Hecht sits on the board of the Association of
Commerce and Industry, serves on the ACI Taxation Committee and is
also a founding board member of the New Mexico Tax Research
Institute.
